Julius Emmrich is a neurologist, researcher, and serial social entrepreneur based in Berlin, Germany. He holds a Master of Philosophy from the University of Cambridge, UK, and an MD from the University of Leipzig, Germany. Julius serves as a research group leader at the Global Digital Health Lab at Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health. With a focus on global neurology and digital health, his research investigates innovative approaches to improve healthcare delivery and enhance patient outcomes globally. Julius is an associate member of the Einstein Center Digital Future and co-founder of the social enterprises mTOMADY and Elucid Social, and the NGO Doctors for Madagascar. Throughout his career, Julius has been recognized for his contributions to science and social entrepreneurship, receiving multiple academic scholarships and awards.
